The panel will explore new research on technology adoption in restaurants and the growing role of AI in operations and guest communication.
While restaurants have spent the last decade investing heavily in digital ordering, one of the most important customer channels remains largely manual: the phone.
Digital orders now represent roughly 30 percent of restaurant revenue, leaving a large share of customer interactions, including catering inquiries, reservations, and complex takeout orders are still handled by phone.
