Partner Program Policy

Your guide to Partner Levels, requirements, and benefits.

Last Updated: 2026-08-25

Welcome

This Partner Program Policy explains how the Newo Partner Program works: the levels you can reach, what each level asks of you, and what each level gives you back.

This Policy works together with the Partner Agreement you sign when you join the program. If anything in this Policy ever appears to conflict with the Partner Agreement, the Partner Agreement is the ruling document.

This Policy does not cover White Label partnerships. Under White Label, you offer the Newo platform under your own brand and bill your own customers directly; Newo then bills you based on your usage. You can become a White Label partner at any time by contacting our sales team, but you cannot be in both programs at once: you are either a White Label partner or a Newo Partner Program partner, not both. White Label partnerships are handled under a separate Volume Service Agreement.

Partner Levels at a Glance

The Newo Partner Program has three levels: Leader, Visionary, and Premier. Every partner starts at Leader.

* Unless stated otherwise, all references to ’12 months’ or similar periods in this table are measured from the date Newo.ai first collects payment for the Customer’s paid subscription.

** This is the blended rate across your first 12 months, once the Starter Reward (100% of revenue for the first 2 months) is averaged together with your tier’s standard rate for the remaining 10 months. From month 3 onward, you are paid at your tier’s standard rate shown above; the blended figure only shows your effective year-1 average.

Certification is tied to individual engineers, not to your company as a whole. Keep enough certified engineers on your team to match your level; if a certified engineer leaves, get a replacement certified to stay compliant.

All partners, starting at Leader, are required to complete Level A certification. New partners get 60 days from signing to do this — see Initial Certification Grace Period.

Newo Academy: Getting Certified

  • Level A and B are free, self-paced. They cover what your team needs for Leader and Visionary level support.
  • Level C is more advanced, hands-on training for complex integrations. It is required for Premier level.
  • Certifications belong to the individual engineer who completes them, not to your company. If that engineer changes roles or leaves, you will need another certified engineer to keep your level.

Certification validity. A completed certification is valid for one year from the date it was completed. To keep the Partner Level tied to that certification, your certified engineers need to renew it before it expires.

Re-certification after content updates. Newo Academy content changes over time. If Newo makes a significant update to a certification module, we will notify partners in advance. Engineers certified under the previous version of that module may be asked to re-certify in order to keep the Partner Level that depends on it.

Support: Who Handles What

Newo splits customer support into levels, so it is always clear who should handle a given issue and what your Partner Level unlocks.

LevelWho handles itWhat it covers
Basic SupportYou (all tiers)General inquiries, account setup, billing questions, password resets, basic how-to questions about the interface, and initial triage of customer issues.
Level 1 (L1)You (Leader tier and above)Working with ready-made scenarios by industry, configuring outputs such as Google Calendar, and setting up Attributes A.
Level 2 (L2)You (Leader tier and above)Extending and adjusting scenarios for a customer’s needs through the Workflow builder (Intents & Scenarios), setting up Outbound and Chat channels, basic troubleshooting, configuring basic integrations (e.g. Cal.com, WhatsApp/Telegram).
Advanced SupportYou (Premier tier only)Advanced, Newo-driven integrations, advanced configuration of Attributes A/B/C, basic use of the API, and questions related to Newo NAF (SuperAgent).
Level 3 (L3)NewoCore platform outages, critical backend bugs, server-side issues, and complex architectural fixes that need access to Newo’s source code.

On the Leader level and above, you are the first and only point of contact for your customers. Please do not send your customers directly to Newo for support. Your certified team should try to resolve Level 1 and Level 2 issues (and Advanced Support issues, if you are Premier) first, using the training from Newo Academy, and escalate to Newo only once you have exhausted what you can do at your level.

Bypass Protocol. If the platform or a specific AI Agent runs into a major technical problem, Newo may temporarily switch that agent into Bypass Protocol. In this mode, incoming calls to the affected agent are automatically forwarded to your customer’s own public or emergency phone number, so calls are not dropped while the issue is being fixed. Time spent in Bypass Protocol does not count against Newo’s uptime commitment or against your own support response times.

How to Become a Newo Partner

  1. Fill out the Become a Partner form. Make sure to use your company’s full legal name, exactly as it is officially registered. This is the name that will appear on your contract, and providing an incorrect name can make your contract invalid and may result in your account being suspended.
  2. In some cases, our sales team reviews your application first and sends you a registration link once it’s approved. If a review is not required for your case, you move straight to the next step.
  3. Access to the Partner Portal requires acceptance of the Partner Agreement. This is executed as a click-through agreement, meaning acceptance is completed electronically by reviewing the terms and selecting
  4. Once you sign, your Partner Portal account is created at the Leader level, the entry point for every new partner. You have 60 days from that date to complete Level A certification — see Initial Certification Grace Period below.
  5. You get access to Newo Academy to start certifying your team.
  6. Complete the certification required for your target level.
  7. Once you meet the certification and revenue requirements for a higher level, Newo upgrades your Partner Level to Visionary or invites you to Premier. You do not need to submit a separate request; Newo reviews and applies the upgrade for you.

Initial Certification Grace Period

Every new partner is assigned Leader level on signing and is paid the Leader revenue commission from day one, while completing certification.

You have 60 days from your Effective Date to complete Level A certification for at least one engineer on your team. This window exists because Newo Academy access requires a Partner Portal account, which is only created once you sign — certification cannot realistically happen before that point.

If Level A is not completed within 60 days, Newo may suspend your Partner Revenue Share entirely, for all customers, until certification is complete. This is a suspension, not a downgrade — Leader is already the entry level, so there is no lower tier to move you to.

Suspension of your Partner Revenue Share does not suspend your support obligations. You are expected to continue supporting your existing customers at the level required, independent of your payment status.

Staying on Your Level: Compliance Reviews

This review cycle and its one-time grace period apply only to partners maintaining a level they have already reached. It is separate from the Initial Certification Grace Period described above, which applies once, to new partners in their first 60 days.

If you meet the requirements, you keep your level, and the cycle repeats in six months.

If you do not meet the requirements, you may be offered a one-time grace period: one extra six-month cycle to get back into compliance before any change is made. This grace period can only be used once.

If you do not qualify for a grace period, or you do not use it to get back into compliance, your level is adjusted down to match your actual certification and revenue.

How You Get Paid: Revenue Share

Newo bills your customers directly and collects payment through its own invoicing.

Your compensation, the Partner Revenue Share, is a percentage of the revenue Newo actually collects from the customers linked to you. The percentage depends on your Partner Level at the time Newo collects that revenue (see the Benefits table above).

If a customer does not pay Newo, no revenue share is paid to you for that customer. Your share is calculated only on money Newo has actually received, not on money invoiced or owed.

Each customer can only be linked to one partner for revenue share purposes. If a project needs support beyond what you can provide, for example a non-standard agent scenario or an integration outside Newo’s standard list, you may bring in a Premier partner to help. Any financial arrangement between you and that Premier partner is between the two of you and falls outside this Program; Newo does not cover those costs by default. In some cases, Newo may consider a compensation arrangement, but this is reviewed case by case and requires a joint written request from both partners, approved by Newo’s Sales Leadership.

To receive your revenue share for a customer, you need to link that customer to your account yourself, using the Link Customer button on the Customers page in the Partner Portal. If you do not link a customer, you will not receive a share of their revenue, even after the fact.

The Starter Reward’s two months are counted from your customer’s subscription start date, not from when a payment is received. If a customer does not pay during those two months, Newo does not owe you a retroactive payment for that period. To claim your retroactive 100% payout for the Starter Reward, reach out to your account manager.

The Starter Reward replaces, rather than adds to, your standard revenue commission for that same period. For example, if you are Leader tier and a customer’s MRR is $100, your month 1 and month 2 payout is $100 total (the Starter Reward only) — not $100 plus the 30% Leader commission.

To receive your Partner Revenue Share, you need to contact our sales team and provide your banking details for payment. Keeping your banking information accurate and up to date is entirely your responsibility. Newo is not liable for payments that fail to reach you because of incorrect or outdated details.

Newo sends you a report within 15 days after the end of each month, showing the revenue collected and your share. Payment follows within 30 days of that report, in US dollars. You are responsible for any taxes owed on the amounts you receive.

If you disagree with a monthly report, let Newo know in writing within 30 days of receiving the payment. After 30 days, the report is considered final.

Deal Registration

If you are Leader tier or above, you can register a large deal with Newo before it closes. This protects your position on that deal while you work to close it.

If the deal is for more than 1,000 calls a month, registering it also locks in exclusivity: while your registration is active, that customer is reserved for you, and no other partner can close the deal instead. This protects your Starter Reward and revenue share for that customer.

A deal registration stays active for 90 days from the day you submit it, not from the day it is approved. Newo can extend it once, by 30 days, if needed.

If the deal is for more than 3,000 calls a month, Newo also provides a Solution Architect to help you plan and implement the project. This is available at every Partner Level.

To register a deal, submit it through the Deal Registration form.

When you register a deal, you need to provide a corporate email address for your end client contact; public or disposable domains, like Gmail, are not accepted.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit. If the details you provide are not enough for Newo to confirm and protect your registration, that responsibility is yours.

Regardless of the information submitted, our sales team will always contact the end client directly to confirm the deal before the registration is approved.

Referral Program

Separately from the Partner Levels above, Newo operates a Referral Program for partners or customers who introduce a new customer, or a new Whitelabel partner, to Newo. This is a bounded finder’s fee, not an ongoing revenue share, and does not require you to take on setup, support, or delivery for what you refer.

Refer a new Whitelabel partner: 60% of the first 4 months of the subscription payments received from a new Whitelabel partner you refer, paid monthly.

Refer a customer: 60% of the first 4 months of the revenue received from that customer, paid monthly. The customer itself is then assigned separately: if their monthly revenue is below $3,000, they are assigned to a Premier-tier partner, ONLY, who is paid at the Premier Revenue Share rate (20%) for that customer rather than the Year-1 Revenue Commission rate, and does not receive a Starter Reward for that customer. If their monthly revenue is $3,000 or more, they remain with Newo’s own delivery team and no partner revenue share applies to that customer.

Referring another company to become a Newo partner does not carry a referral payout under this Program.

Referral payments are funded from the amounts Newo actually collects for the referred party, and are reported and paid on the same monthly cycle as your Partner Revenue Share.

Your Responsibilities as a Partner

  • Promote and sell the Newo platform honestly, with trained staff.
  • Follow the laws that apply to your business, including data protection and telecommunications rules. You may offer Newo’s services worldwide, except in countries restricted under trade control laws.
  • Deliver good, professional service to your customers.
  • Send Newo a short quarterly update on your sales pipeline, customer feedback, and integration status.
  • Keep enough certified engineers on your team for your Partner Level.
  • Provide Basic Support at every tier, plus Level 1 and Level 2 support from Leader tier up, and Advanced Support if you are Premier; escalate to Newo only after you have exhausted your own troubleshooting.
  • Keep confidential any non-public information you learn about Newo, and expect the same for information you share with Newo.
  • When you mention the partnership in your marketing, follow Newo’s brand guidelines and do not suggest a bigger relationship than the one you actually have.

What Newo Provides

  • Technical support (Level 3) for platform outages, backend bugs, and fixes that need access to Newo’s source code.
  • Up-to-date documentation and integration guides.
  • Advance notice before major changes to the API or platform features.
  • Bypass Protocol coverage during service disruptions, so an affected agent’s calls are forwarded rather than dropped.
  • The right to use Newo’s name in case studies and partnership announcements, with your approval, and full ownership of anything you build on the platform: your prompts, scripts, flows, and integrations stay yours.

Partnership Term and Updates to This Policy

The partnership runs for an initial 12 months and renews automatically every year, unless either side gives 90 days’ written notice not to renew. Either side can also end the partnership for any reason with 90 days’ notice, or sooner if the other side seriously breaches the agreement and does not fix it in time. If the partnership ends, Newo keeps serving your existing customers for up to six months so they can transition smoothly, unless the partnership ends because of your serious breach.

Newo may update this Policy from time to time, for example to adjust revenue share percentages or requirements. You will always get written notice at least 30 days before a change takes effect. If you disagree with a change, you can end the partnership before it takes effect. Otherwise, continuing to work with Newo after that date means you accept the update.
